Business & friendship come together in surprise moment
Doing business in the 21st Century sometimes means associates can work together for years without ever meeting one another. The 2012 IAM Conference, however, served as the catalyst for two business associates connecting in person for the first time, after nearly 15 years of working together. Two International Managers; one from Madrid, the other from St. Louis, coincidently filled empty seats next to one another in the lobby of The Gaylord Hotel, only to discover the connection. After absorbing the surprise of the moment, the conversation effortlessly turned to news of all too familiar families and co-workers. Finally, the opportunity to put a face with a friend after so many years.
